Dear Sir or Madam,
We at Loughborough Carillon Tower & War Memorial Museum are disposing of a number of objects with no local interest. We have the Death Plaque of Rfn Ralph Jaques of Crowle and would like to place it in a more relevant location than the museum store in Loughborough.
Could you suggest a location in Crowle? It must remain in the public domain, no private collectors.
Please email us at: carillonmuseum@gmail.com
Dear Mr Gould,
Many thanks for your email. It is a very kind offer that you make. There are a couple of locations that such a plaque could be placed on public view – either at Market Hall or in the Library. I will need to speak to the council about how best to organise this. Failing those locations it might be possible to donate the plaque to the North Lincolnshire Museum in Scunthorpe.
