I am the builder that completely renovated this property in 2010. It goes with out saying it was a fascinating property to work on , I like to think we were sympathetic to its original owners construction & design, of which the new owners were in in full support .
We did find a pair of Cornelius Peacocks shoes hidden under the stairwell leading to the cellar , these were sent to Northampton shoe museum for verification and recording for posterity and are now in a wonderful display cabinet within the property, near to where they were discovered .
Many Thanks
