{"id":1355,"date":"2012-01-14T22:05:58","date_gmt":"2012-01-14T22:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crowle.org\/?p=1355"},"modified":"2014-09-23T19:52:31","modified_gmt":"2014-09-23T19:52:31","slug":"windsor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crowle.org\/?p=1355","title":{"rendered":"Windsor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Windsor is a small hamlet within Crowle, just off Windsor Lane.<\/p>\n<p>It is the derivation for the names of Windsor Road, Windsor Crescent and Windsor Lane itself.<\/p>\n<p>Before the construction of the houses on Windsor Road it was quite a distinct settlement from Crowle itself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The small hamlet of Windsor is within the plot of land numbered 219 in the 1822 Enclosures Act Award Plan . This plot was awarded to Johnathan Sayles.
